Mamoswine, the Twin Tusk Pokémon and the evolved form of Piloswine. Distinguished by its large tusks, its weight is more than five times that of Piloswine, and is less commonly found since the end of the Ice Age. A frozen one was dug up from soil dating back 10,000 years. It woke up to much amazement.

Nature: Rash (+Sp.Att, -Sp.Def)
Ability: Oblivious
Item: NeverMeltIce (held... SOMEWHERE under its fur. Sheik doesn't really want to know)

Moves: Ancient Power, Earthquake, Hail, Ice Fang
History: Bacon is, quite frankly, a surprising favourite of Sheik's. While most trainers overlooked the football-shaped Swinub, Sheik became rather fond of his while they were training to take on Clair, and the now-Piloswine is another that he frequently uses. He first evolved in training, shortly before battling Clair. Once in Bohren, with the help of a move tutor, Bacon relearnt Ancient Power, evolving into a Mamoswine.
Personality: Bacon is an interesting one - despite his size and generally cool exterior, beneath all that shaggy fur is the heart of a warrior. When faced with a battle, he's the one who'd be encouraging Sheik to go in fast and furious and take down the enemy - he enjoys the heat of battle, and he was the most restless of the team when Sheik took time to catch Pokemon and simply train.
The result, though? A Piloswine that is totally unafraid to get up in your face and BATTLE.
Felicia
Persian, the Classy Cat Pokémon. Many adore it for its sophisticated air. However, it will lash out and scratch for little reason. Has a vicious temperament. Beware if it raises its tail straight up. It is a signal that it is about to pounce and bite. A Persian's six bold whiskers sense air movements to determine what is in its vicinity. It becomes docile if grabbed by the whiskers.

History: When Sheik first came across Felicia as a Meowth, he was rather unsure about evolving her - he knew about the alleged viciousness of Persians, and wasn't entirely sure he wanted to deal with that. However, the Meowth proved to be far too zen to be aggressive, and thankfully, this continued over once she evolved.
Personality: Felicia almost borders on lazy, and would rather laze around in the sun rather than fight. She does, unfortunately, show a bit of viciousness in her rivalry with Pup - as Sheik has had her for longer, she views Pup as an interloper, and was most displeased to be boxed so he could train the Houndoom. With most others, though, she tends towards being sleepy and relaxed, uncaring if a smaller Pokemon decides to snuggle up for a nap.
Pup
Houndoom, the Dark Pokémon. The evolved form of Houndour. Houndoom's eerie howl is said to cause those who hear it to shudder in fear. If you are burned by the flames it shoots from its mouth, the pain will never go away. Upon hearing its eerie howls, other Pokémon get the shivers and head straight back to their nests.

Item: Charcoal (fireproof pouch made of woven metal fibers around her neck)

History: Pup is one of Sheik's newer Pokemon - he found her as a Houndour a few months before travelling to Bohren in the Safari Zone, and has since focused on training her almost exclusively. Now, she's nearly as strong as the Meganium he's had since he was twelve, and a part of his main party. Pup evolved from Houndour during his training in western Johto.
Personality: Despite Pup's occasional smart-arse tendencies and willingness to fight, she really is a rather friendly creature. She does, however, have a competitive streak, and may butt heads with other Fire types at around her level. (Curiously, and thankfully for Sheik's future team, she doesn't show the same competitive streak against similarly-leveled Dark types.)
Ebizo
Sandslash, the Mouse Pokémon. When it runs at full speed, it sends up a thick cloud of sand in order to hide itself. Sandslash can roll up its body as if it were a ball covered with large spikes. In battle, this Pokémon will try to make the foe flinch by jabbing it with its spines. It then leaps at the stunned foe to tear wildly with its sharp claws. It curls up in a ball to protect itself from enemy attacks. It also curls up to prevent heatstroke during the daytime when temperatures rise sharply.

History: This gentle creature was found as a Sandshew in Union Cave, a curious little thing that had been following Sheik for some time before he confronted him. Ebizo is a decent fighter, but not particularly enthusiastic - he'd rather sun himself than battle. Sheik resumed training him when he travelled to western Johto.

Ampharos, the Light Pokémon. Ampharos emits a strong light from the tip of its tail, which can be seen over long distances and serve as a beacon to those who are lost. When it gets dark, the light from its bright, shiny tail can be seen from far away on the ocean's surface.

History: Sheik has had Biri for a long time - since he battled Falkner - although she's since spent a lot of time in a PC box. After claiming the eighth badge, focusing on training with a wider range of types, he reintroduced her to his team, picking up on her training again. She evolved from Mareep while training in western Johto, and into Ampharos on route 299 in Bohren.

Pidgeot, the Bird Pokémon. The evolved form of Pidgeotto, it can fly at twice the speed of sound at an altitude of nearly one mile. When hunting, it skims the surface of water at high speed to pick off unwary prey such as Magikarp. This Pokémon has a dazzling plumage of beautifully glossy feathers. Many Trainers are captivated by the striking beauty of the feathers on its head, compelling them to choose Pidgeot as their Pokémon.

History: Fyer was the very first Pokemon Sheik caught in the wild. She was boxed shortly after winning against Bugsy's gym, then retrieved while Sheik was training in western Johto. While she has become stronger, he believes she doesn't like him particularly much, and so she goes rarely used.

Jigglypuff, the Balloon Pokémon. When Jigglypuff's big eyes begin to quiver, everyone becomes sleepy as it sings a lullaby. Jigglypuff's vocal chords can freely adjust the wavelength of its voice. This Pokémon uses this ability to sing at precisely the right wavelength to make its foes most drowsy. When this Pokémon sings, it never pauses to breathe. If it is in a battle against an opponent that does not easily fall asleep, Jigglypuff cannot breathe, endangering its life. Nothing can avoid falling asleep hearing a Jigglypuff's song. The sound waves of its singing voice match the brain waves of someone in a deep sleep.
